COMPANY

The team behind a $586M security acquisition. Now purpose-built for contractor device access.

Ensure Endpoint was created by the team behind PointSec, the endpoint security platform acquired by Check Point for $586M. We built Ensure after an enterprise asked the question no one had answered: 'How do we verify contractor device security without forcing MDM on personal devices?'

From a Citrix migration problem to a platform for contractor device access

In 2021, enterprises migrating from Citrix to M365 faced a gap no one had solved: employees moved to Intune-managed devices, but contractors and external partners still accessed corporate applications from personal laptops. Without Citrix as a containment layer, those devices would connect directly to M365 with no verification.

These enterprises needed three things:

  • A clear minimum security standard for contractor devices
  • A way to enforce it through Entra Conditional Access
  • Exportable proof for audits and compliance reviews

The usual tools did not fit:

  • MDM requires enrollment that contractors on personal devices refuse
  • Keeping Citrix just for contractors defeats the purpose of the migration and doubles cost
  • VPN and identity controls confirm the user, not the device

So we built a different model: verify the device without managing it. The first enterprise deployed Ensure in weeks. Today, the platform verifies 1.4M+ contractor devices across regulated industries.

Device posture verification for contractor workforces

Today

1.4M+ devices verified

Across regulated enterprises and M365 environments

Ensure checks device posture at login based on your policy: encryption, antivirus, firewall, OS version, and risky remote access tools. If the device passes, access continues through Entra Conditional Access. If it fails, the contractor gets simple steps to fix it. Every result is logged with user, device, and timestamp for audit evidence.

Today, enterprises use Ensure to reduce contractor access friction while strengthening third-party device controls and compliance readiness.

Leadership

Ensure was built by the team that created PointSec, the endpoint encryption platform acquired by Check Point Software in 2007. That same team now focuses exclusively on contractor and third-party device access for enterprises migrating to M365.

Cloud-Managed Encryption

U.S. company. Swedish security engineering. Contractor access focus.

Ensure Endpoint is a U.S. company with deep roots in Swedish security engineering, the same tradition that produced PointSec. Our focus is enterprises managing contractors and external partners who access M365 and corporate applications from unmanaged devices.

We are not a general security platform. We are built for the contractor device verification problem, with the controls and evidence enterprises need.
